Know something we don't?
UCLA students got lucky when this gem of a hot dog stand and diner opened in their backyard. Not your typical hot dog stand, this Westwood diner (with a sister locations in Century City and Encino) offers four basic dogs - 100% beef, low-fat turkey, kosher, and the spicy “big red” dog - and myriad gourmet toppings. If you’re too overwhelmed by the choices, order one of their specialty dogs instead of the build-it-yourself version. All hot dogs come with house made potato chips. The menu also includes soups, salads, burgers, and sausages for the non-hot dog loving set. And if you still have room, enjoy The Stand’s seasonal cobblers or a classic root beer float.
