A swank cocktail lounge for those who don't feel like trekking to the Eastside. Popular Drinks: Don't come here if you're not a Martini fan. Apple, chocolate or even a traditional vodka or gin with green olive...your choice will be served up super strong (you better have a powerhouse liver) and large in a frosted Martini glass. Hot pink Cosmo is always a crowd pleaser as well. Shots of tequila and single malt Scotch also available if you're not trashed already.
Unique Drinks: Theme specialties include the Kitty Colada, Bitches Brew, the Omen, and the Nine Lives Mai Tai. Or, go white trash with The Low Life (Pabst Blue Ribbon).
Food: No. Why would you want anything to soak up the alcohol?
Seating: Come early to snag a small two-seat cocktail table, or else prepare to stand and boogie down to the DJ.
Ambience: Packed with Westsiders who wish they had the patience to drive to Eastside bars. Small, dimly lit room where the drinks are more sophisticated than some patrons.
Extras/Notes: You will get drunk, do not fear. They don't skimp on the alcohol here. No sign outside except for the flashing neon Martini glass. Drab and plain outside, simple and elegant inside. Live bands Sun.; DJs spin Tue., Thu. and Sat; "Kitty-oke" on Mon. nights, to make an ass of yourself in public. Ashtrays, smokes and women's T-shirts for sale. Owned by Christian Kneedle, the same scenester behind the now-defunct C Bar in Beverly Hills.
Parking: Valet ($3.50), or test your luck on the street.
