Times Description

Suffused with an Old Hollywood elegance, a meal at Tower Bar is undoubtedly a classy experience. Formerly Bugsy Siegel’s apartment in the Sunset Tower Hotel, the restaurant exudes a domestic charm with its walnut paneling, cozy fireplace and grand piano. Chef Dakota Weiss (who also helms the hotel’s more casual eatery, the Terrace) presents a fittingly classic bistro menu. Oysters, potato blini, and sea scallops to start; steak frites, poulet roti, langoustine pappardelle are among the entrees. Since the dining room contains only 80 seats, tables are coveted and often filled with bold-faced names.
