Blink and you'll miss Memphis, an upscale Southern restaurant located in a converted Victorian that's hidden in the back of a string of bars and cafes off Hollywood Blvd. In addition to fried chicken, ribs, gumbo, jambalaya, Andouille sausage, macaroni and cheese, catfish and hush puppies, Memphis serves decidedly more California-esque fare like seared Ahi tuna, lobster fettucini and roasted beet and tomato salad.
