Il Sole is an unassuming Italian restaurant that just happens to be one of Hollywood’s favorite eateries. Though it’s in the middle of the Sunset Strip, there is nothing flashy about the cozy Il Sole, except for the occasional paparazzi flashbulbs. Prices are pretty steep, but the scene often makes up for it. The Northern Italian menu is often praised, with the Dover sole and Il Sole’s selection of seafood hitting high notes among patrons. Tables fill quickly so reservations are a definite must.
