Eliza Dushku's Best of L.A.
Picks by Eliza_Dushku
Know something we don't?
Dan Tana’s intimate, New York-style atmosphere as well as its popularity among studio heads, industry insiders and celebrities have made it one of L.A.’s local legends. Small and filled with red leather booths and checkered tablecloths, its good New York strip steak and a fiercely loyal staff are responsible for its 40-plus years as a top spot. Regulars are still given priority seating, but reservations for non-regulars are more guaranteed on the late end of the evening. Luckily, Dan Tana’s is open until 1:30 a.m. and you can always get a seat at the bar if a table isn’t available. With so much in walking distance, make it a New York-style evening: Follow the celeb trail to neighboring Foxtail or catch a great show at the Troubadour after your meal.
TIPS: Table three is a favorite; a little tip to the host might help you secure it.Picks by Eliza_Dushku
