About
Occupying the former Bin 8945 space, Saint Felix aims to offer West Hollywood bargoers a different kind of experience this year. We're talking infused vodkas, watermelon martinis, mango ginger margarita shots, rasperberry mojitos and more at this small, but intimate bar. Owned by John Arakaki (Kiss or Kill club) and two other partners (including Jay Krymis), Saint Felix hopes to lure in a friendly crowd (both straight and gay...the scene here is nicely mixed) with the afformentioned drink specials and a "bordello-type vibe," per Arakaki.
But just because the bar is a mere stone's throw away from fancy shops on Robertson, don't think that Saint Felix is typical velvet-rope hang; the bar proudly serves up chilled 40 Oz. Colt 45 bottles on the cheap to those seeking a walk on the Billy Dee Williams side.
Black leater seating options against exposed brick walls gives the new destination a distinct "east coast" vibe, and food is offered here as well (Kobe beef sliders, blue salad, garlic asparagus, spicy ahi tuna salad and homemade pickles etc.).
Saint Felix opened officially in mid-June of 2008, and is a solid choice for those seeking a quick bite to eat (check their nice outdoor sidewalk patio) and a cocktail prior to taking in a show at the nearby Troubadour.
