Its likeness to South Beach and New York hotspots makes Here Lounge one of WeHo’s more popular nightlife destinations. Next door to popular gay bar the Abbey, the geometric, L-shaped lounge is often home to upscale gay and lesbian dance parties, performances and the occasional mixed gay-straight club night. Monday nights belong to drag show “Here’s Jackie” while Thursday night’s party, Heat, adds some spice with reggaeton and Latin dance music. When the dance floor gets steamy, clubgoers seek refuge in Here’s spacious tree-lined patio which also provides a view of those stuck lining up against the club’s black iron gates.
