Know something we don't?
Formerly The Whisky Bar, the cozy Bar 1200 in the Sunset Marquis Hotel has traditionally catered to rock stars and their beautiful hangers-on. Though small in size, the single bar has served larger-than-life egos like the Rolling Stones, Ozzy Osbourne and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, who have also been known to use the hotel’s underground recording studio. If you don’t get an actual rock star sighting, you can admire the dozen black-and-white portraits by famed music photographer Ross Halfin hanging on the walls.
