Munchin' at the Junction

Know something we don't?
Vegan and Silver Lake are like peanut butter and jelly; it's hard to think of one without conjuring up images of the other. It's amazing that until Flore Vegan came along the neighborhood had nowhere to feed its most high-maintenance members. Flore is tiny and bustling with a vegan deli counter and a small group of outdoor tables that seem to always be occupied. The veggie breakfast frittata is the stuff of sweet dreams and your vegan date will swoon for the blueberry buckwheat bliss pancakes. For lunch or dinner tuck into a bowl of chilled cantaloupe blueberry gazpacho and follow it up with a tempeh bacon and mushroom pizza. When you're through, vegan or not, you'll feel as clean and clear as the day you were born.
TIPS: There's no air conditioning and the place get a bit heated so be sure to dress with removable layers. Flore is located on a fabulous strip of shopping real estate so linger in the neighborhood for a while and be sure to visit the incredibly fabulous Silver Lake Cheese Store before stopping for coffee at Sunset Junction's bustling Intelligentsia Coffee.
