The
Echo's younger (but substantially bigger) sibling is a stab at grafting a bona-fide dance club beneath the venerable Echo Park rock club. The space is oddly sized: too small for A-list DJ's and rock bands, too big for up-and-comers, and commensurately either half-full or deeply impossible to get into. But if you're a foot soldier in the neon hoodie army, you will end up here regardless of how lame it is to walk all the way down the bridge over Glendale because they won't inexplicably won't open the Sunset Blvd. door leading downstairs. Park around Echo Park Lake, it's cheaper than the valet and if you get sloppy there's no two-hour rule when you come back the next day for your car. For food and drink, all your
Echo options are in play, as is
Tigeorge's Hatian Chicken just south on Glendale.
