L.A. bars celebrating "Repeal Day"

Know something we don't?
4100 is one of a number of bars in the Silver Lake and Echo Park area that has undergone a serious metamorphosis over the past few years. Situated on a corner of Sunset Boulevard across from a nondescript Jiffy Lube, this spot is hard to miss. Its bright purple exterior is emblazoned with a large multicolored "4100."
Show your ID to the bouncer, pass the ATM machine, push the black velvet curtains aside, walk in and -- ah yes, welcome, you have arrived. 4100 is dark, sleek and very sexy. It's neighborhood drinking made simple. The crowd is diverse and the vibe is relaxed. The bartenders mix up every shade of martini on the market and serve a full selection of wine, beer (on tap) and liquor. And the topper? A jukebox that meets all your punk and indie-rock needs.
Word has spread and 4100 is bringing in the crowds nightly. Expect standing-room-only on weekend nights after 10.
