Warszawa is located in a small converted bungalow. European-style and homey, this is one of those rare places on the Westside where food and conversation are compatible. Service is unhurried and the menu features country pâté, brightly colored borscht and dried plums wrapped in bacon. The roasted duck with apples has a crispy skin, and the pierogi are tender and stuffed with your choice of cheese, beef, potatoes and onions or wild mushrooms and cabbage. For dessert, try the vanilla crêpes and a traditional plum brandy or honey liqueur from the Old Country.
