One of the best places to find Eastside-style on the Westside, it’s a calmer cousin to the West Hollywood location -- at least until the bars close. There are fewer tattoos on the waitresses and dimmer mood lighting, but it's the same Andy Warhol-meets-Love American Style walls and red and green tartan vinyl booths. Open until 2 or 3 a.m. depending on the day, it mixes good vegan and vegetarian food with chili cheese fries and a well-loved and surprisingly ungreasy tuna melt. Now importing boutique red velvet and carrot cupcakes and utilizing quinoa, a South American grain, in many dishes. Kid-friendly during brunch hours.
