They’ve been serving up Santa Monica favorites like the “Renters Rights” (bacon and potato filling with sour cream on the side) and the “Semi-Sophisticated”(goat cheese with fresh basil and chopped tomatoes) for over thirty years, but recipes at this old-timey diner hearken back even further, to the days of real creamery butter and heavy cream. Breakfast runs a lean $5-$10, but if you can drag yourself in between 6-7am, most of the titular omelets are half off.
