Tucked into the corner of a mini strip mall, Locanda Portofino is a cozy, intimate restaurant and the consummate location to wine and dine by candlelight. The menu brims with tasty Italian dishes. Salads are enhanced by additions such as thinly sliced dry beef marinated in lemon sauce, octopus, calamari or other seafood. Pasta dishes are served with traditional Bolognese sauce, smoked mozzarella, eggplant and seafood. You may want to try one of the house specialties: penne vodka, spaghetti with chopped shrimp in a cognac-and-capers sauce, or homemade ravioli. Risotto is made to order, and traditional dishes such as medallions of filet mignon, veal scaloppine and veal parmigiana will not disappoint.
