Local residents swear by this neighborhood Tex-Mex fixture in the heart of Brentwood, and it's particularly popular with young families. For one thing, the walls are covered in kitschy crayon drawings by the local youth. This is the place for
health-conscious spice-cravers. Typical Mexican fare--tostadas, tacos, enchiladas--feature subtle fat replacements such as green leaf spinach, light
cojita cheese and tangy Caribbean-style pineapple salsas. Round out the calorie count with a house sangria or frozen margarita. Lunch/dinner for two: $20-$30.
