Ivy at the Shore

A breezy, resort-style restaurant draped with bougainvillea and overflowing with Old World colonial charm, Ivy at the Shore is known as the shorefront spot where Hollywood moguls make deals and celebs hide in plain sight while sipping umbrella-laden cocktails. Despite its reputation for exclusivity, the Ivy—as it’s typically truncated—feels down-to-earth, almost homey, an atmosphere reinforced by the white walls, soft wood, Hawaiian-print chairs and lazily spinning ceiling fans. Make no mistake, however, the restaurant and fully stocked bar offers high-end fare: The crab cake or mussels appetizers run $12.75 to $15.75; the wood-burning oven-baked pizza is $15.75 to $18.75; and the entrees range from $26.75 for the meatloaf to $32.75 for the black pepper shrimp, salmon or swordfish, to $42.75 for the Cajun prime rib.
