Situated on a sweet little corner away from all the hubbub, Fritto Misto’s homey ambience and particularly amiable service—along with loads of savory vegetarian options (gnocchi gorgonzola! goat cheese fettuccini!) plus all fresh pastas, daily rotating specials, housemade desserts and reasonable prices—keep this mostly locals hangout packed every night of the week. Particular standouts include the restaurant’s namesake, a delicately battered and flash-fried appetizer made with calamari and seasonal vegetables.

I love Italian food and Fritto Misto is one of those places that serves great Italian food. I have never been disappointed eating here....
