Located on a tree-lined corner at the calmer, Santa Monica Place end of the Promenade, and across from a burbling water feature, Café Crepes serves up French baguette sandwiches and Italian paninis and breakfast all day. But there are also 48 kinds of crepes, including an entire subsection devoted to Nutella. In fact, there’s so much Nutella on the premises, it’s found its way into the martinis. Off-the-shelf French ambience was imported courtesy of Folies Bergere and Gitane cigarette ads and deep maroon walls against black vinyl booths.
