Locanda del Lago owns and operates this little sandwich and gelato kiosk plopped down in the middle of the Promenade. Its modest dining room offers little in the way of atmosphere, save for a 1967 orange Vespa parked for effect in one corner. But where else are you going to pick up a quick breakfast panini holding a pancetta, potatoes and red onion frittata smothered in aurora sauce and fontina cheese?
