A bona fide French eatery founded by chef Thierry Boisson in 1989, Acadie is a simple, bright, modern café with a small indoor eating area and an expansive courtyard. Acadie’s specialty is hand-crafted crepes—the menu features three breakfast crepes for $8 each, seven “savory” lunch crepes for $7.50 to $8.50, and ten sweet crepes for $3.50 and up—but Monsieur Boisson and company have more to offer: Reasonably priced create-your-own-omelets, bagels, granola, waffles and pancakes round out the breakfast options, while salads, soups and baguette sandwiches complete the remainder.
