Know something we don't?
Despite being known primarily as a great place to sit down all day and read magazines for free, this particular megastore is trying its absolute hardest to branch out. They've got a great children's book section, complete with a picnic bench, kid-sized Adirondak chairs and an inviting stage with a Velveteen Rabbit wall mural. There's adult stuff, too: an on-site Starbucks; couches, dark wood-stained chairs and black tables for work or play; and an exciting bit of interior architecture starring an entire ceiling as skylight and some potted palm trees as structural columns. You'll also find B&N book bags, B&N reading glasses and B&N staff members hard at work, a fair number of whom wear telemarketing-style headsets. And by the way, they sell books here, too.
