Know something we don't?
There are jokes a-plenty to be made of the Westside Middle Eastern nightclub scene, but Zanzibar is straight class (at least in its decor). Sumptuous appointments like rich woods and leather compliment an exquisite selection of jet-setting techno, tribal and exotic remixes (check Thursday nights for the beloved AfroFunke sets) curated for optimal mind-erasing and grind-enhancing. The owners didn't quite wrest the crowd away from its fratty roots as the old West End, but if you must do the SaMo nightclub circuit, you could make many worse decisions. Covers are usually steep and the lines at the bar are often devastatingly long, so bring hotties to ensure attentive service (and because you should anyway). If it's not doing it for you, try Main, the updated site of the old Mor Bar.
