Most sports bar inevitably get overrun by the fans of a particular team. It’s just the nature of the beast. Yankee Doodles, on the other hand, is so vast and has so many televisions that such a thing has never really happened. You’ll have your pockets of Laker fans by the door, your Clippers fans downstairs, your Celtics fans by one of the big screens, etc. Everyone (and every team) is welcome. Other than its size, Yankee Doodle’s other interesting feature is the large, outdoor patio where you can sit and enjoy decent, slightly pricey pub grub while watching shoppers and tourist stream through the Promenade. Inside, there’s a long bar, pool tables and video games to keep you occupied when you’re not watching a game. The crowd is usually a mix of locals and tourists. Parking is available at one of the many lots that ring the Promenade.
