About
See the ornate silk, textile and jewelry designs, which were recovered during the late 19th and 20th centuries, of the Miao people of China. The Miao people make up one of the largest recognized nationalities in China with a population of over seven million. Because they don't have a written language, visual traditions found within dress and everyday objects are very meaningful.
