Oishi Sushi & Teriyaki

Located in a bland shopping plaza, this Japanese restaurant offers your standard array of sushi, sashimi and rolls. Also available: bento lunch boxes, noodle dishes and all sorts of teriyaki. For desert, the tempura ice cream is a must-try. There’s a sake bar, which isn’t available at Oishi’s sister location in Moreno Valley. An extensive take-out menu also advertises party platters --  gyoza, seafood egg rolls, and kalbi platters are just some of the options. Inside, the restaurant is clean and relatively spacious, though bland. The wait staff is amiable and helpful. There’s plenty of parking in the shopping plaza lot, but this tends to get crowded at peak hours.
