Chen Ling Palace

This Cantonese-Mandarin-Szechuan restaurant features one of the more interesting facades along Magnolia Ave. – pointy red roof, miniature garden and wooden porches meant to evoke some sort of timeless Eastern fantasy. The cuisine is strictly by-the-numbers Chinese fare: kung pao chicken, mu shu pork, egg foo-young, etc. There’s also a hot bar. Interior décor is functional but there are plenty of tables so waiting won’t be a problem. The staff is courteous and helpful. Lunch specials and takeout are available. Parking is ample but not abundant.
