Arts Bar & Grill

Located near Riverside’s arts district, this cozy steak house boasts a freeway overpass for a next-door neighbor, but surprisingly, noise isn’t a problem. (Must be the thick brick walls.) The menu selection – steak, fish and other protein sources – is traditional, moderately fancy and a tad pricey. The staff is friendly and helpful. Photos of historic Riverside adorn the interior, creating an old-world ambiance. A piano bar is adjacent to the main dining area. The clientele tends to be moderately upscale and professional, with a smattering of bohemian types and students. Parking available, but the lot is rather small and tends to be filled in the evenings.
