"Home on the range" meets upscale L.A. at the Inland Empire's The Forks Chop House (formerly Three Forks). Favorites include the the smothered wild boar chops, tender grilled elk loin served over a bacon-and-onion potato pancake, and the pan roasted golden trout, all to be topped off with the Kentucky bourbon crème brûlée. Reservations recommended for the Sunday brunch and weekly Sunday evening chef's supper (a four-course prix fixe menu).
