The Roof Garden at the Peninsula Beverly Hills

This chic rooftop restaurant and bar recently underwent a $4 million renovation and is open to the public after being a hotel-guests-only affair. The pleasant, manicured garden is located next to a 60-foot lap pool and the hotel's elite spa. The restaurant serves breakfast and lunch as well as "spa cuisine," which includes herbal tonics and teas and is designed to augment any spa treatments you may have scheduled.

A romantic mood is created in the evening with banquettes, a fire pit and heated granite tiles and live jazz.
