With its exquisite and stately interior, the Madison Restaurant is the kind of place where one decides to run for some sort of office, even if one formerly had absolutely no ambitions of the sort. The Madison serves inarguable classics on gleaming white plates -- shrimp cocktail, filet mignon and something called the chocolate piano, which can only be classy and delicious. Check out the beautiful detail work on the ceiling and the portrait of Rudolph Valentino from “The Shiek.”
