Tacos Delta

Tacos Delta doesn't look like much from the street, but it has a lovely tree-shaded patio out back with mismatched tablecloths and plastic seats. If you spent too much time carousing at El Conquistador, Tantra or Spaceland with Silver Lake rockers last night, the menudo here in the morning will help your head. The tiny, family-run and owned stand has become famous in its own right, serving up reliably delicious bean and cheese burritos, exquisite huevos rancheros and ridiculously cheesy enchiladas. Keep your eyes open when you pull up, celebrities like to slum it here. Most recently spotted: Superbad's Jonah Hill.

TIPS: There is a small parking lot between the stand and the adjacent Laundromat. Customers are allowed to park directly in back of other cars, effectively blocking them in. Since the dining takes place outside you can keep your eye on your car and move it when you need to.
