About

If you’re feeling bummed, head to Silky Sullivan’s for a dose of cheer. The Irish restaurant and pub has various ways to make you feel better. According to the philosophical notes on the menu cover, Silky Sullivan was the “greatest come-from-behind stretch runner in horse racing history.” Therefore, the restaurant is dedicated to “all the competitors in sports, as in life, who, against heavy odds, have come from behind to finish in the winner’s circle.” If that’s too deep or corny for you, just order your favorite drink from the lively bar and strike up a conversation with the nearest happy-go-lucky soul. Or sit down and dig into something hearty from the gigantic menu of reasonably priced comfort food and more. For a twist on an old classic, try the house special Irish sundae: a baked potato stuffed with prime rib or chicken, plus mushrooms, cheese and sour cream. If your objective is peace and quiet, don't visit at game time. The pub is where spirited sports fans gather to cheer their team with enthusiastic abandon.
