Of all the Universal City bars, Saddle Ranch is one that’s all bull. Known for its mechanical bull riding contest, the restaurant and bar is a favorite among tourists and former reality show contestants looking for down-home fun and huge portions. The brunch menu can cure any and all hangovers with its selection of mouth-watering pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and $9.95 all-you-can-drink mimosa and Bloody Mary special. The lunch and dinner menus serve up hefty burgers, sandwiches and steaks while the bar offers specialty drinks with names like the Texas Tea Party and the Bull Fighter. With so much to eat and drink, getting on the bull, let alone staying on, would seem a daunting task.
