Most people probably don’t think “delicious burritos” when they think Ojai, but this Mexican joint does the trick. Located in a discreet store front off the main drag, Ruben's is a must-stop for those who want portable eats on a budget. And unlike other burrito spots, Ruben's doesn't use lard in its tortillas or beans. Go for the vegetarian burrito or the chile relleno burrito. Just don't plan a big birthday party here. The tiny restaurant is little more than a counter and kitchen. For pure poundage per dollar, Ruben's hefty burritos (perhaps better described as burros) weigh in at the top.

I live in Simi Valley and I ride through Ojai every one in a while. And If I ride through there I ALWAYS have to have a killer burrito...
