About
Whether it’s food or drink on your mind, Quinn’s has some surprises for you. Your drink is fresh enough to talk back to you, thanks to the fresh squeezed juices and other original ingredients. You won’t find any margarita or Bloody Mary mixes behind this bar, just a juicer that helps create popular cocktails like the fresh blueberry lemon drop. In keeping with the pub theme, there’s also the Pimm’s Cup cocktail and highly-rated wines by the glass with surprisingly decent prices. The dining room serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Expect a friendly, helpful server to tell you about the fish of the day and other specials. Then the burden is on you to decide whether to order a simple comfort food like meatloaf or fish and chips or go all-out with a first-class steak. Quinn’s chef came from Morton’s and, like the famous steakhouse, cooks meats in a hotter-than-heck oven that makes ’em tender and juicy. Happy Hour is when single prawns and oysters go for a mere 75 cents. After 9 p.m., sliders are 99 cents. The building was Old Town’s food market in the 1940s and the original brick on Quinn’s back wall is a reminder of the old days. It now displays Irish, sports and historic Tustin memorabilia. The patio is a haven for smokers and al fresco types. The adventurous and curious can go from Quinn’s to the legendary local dive bar, Swinging Door, or the high-energy Japanese tavern, Honda Ya. Beach Pit BBQ, Roma D Italia and the Crab Cooker are family-friendly options in town.
Tips: Impress your friends with insider knowledge of Quinn’s wine-friendly ways. By the glass, Quinn’s offers generous pours of quality wines at prices that will surprise wine connoisseurs. What’s more, there’s no corkage fee Sunday through Tuesday. Cheers!
