About
Opened in the early 1960’s, when air travel was still a kingly experience, the Proud Bird attempts to bring back the glory years of flight while providing its patrons with a runway-side view of planes coming and going from LAX. The restaurant is themed around the Swing Era and World War II, so it's easy to let yourself sink back in history, to a time when you didn't have to take off your shoes to board an airplane.
