About
The West Coast edition of a New York eatery, this fashionable trattoria is a premiere gathering spot for table-hopping actors, writers, agents and managers discussing business over generous portions of fettuccine and risotto. The main dining room is a casual, lively space while an adjoining patio provides a more charming, romantic environment.
The menu changes daily, but you can always count on pasta creations, crispy pizzas, grilled chicken, swordfish, veal or even sweetbreads. Surprisingly, wines seem priced more for starving actors than for studio execs.
Pizza heaven
There are four pizza choices on the menu, plus a revolving daily-special pizza. Pizzetta Margherita (fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, basil and Parmesan) is a simple classic.
