About
After being replaced from its location at the corner of Figueroa & Sunset thanks to Palmer Development, the Original Texas Barbecue King opened a new location in South L.A. and finally returned to downtown in August 2008. The newest BBQ King features their usual assortment of Texas-style beef and pork ribs, babyback ribs, tri-tip, babecued chicken, links, beef tri-tip, boneless pork loin and hamburgers as well as an array of sides that taste as though they were scooped straight from the bucket at Costco. If you need an excuse to eat more meat, BBQ King also serves breakfast: sausage, bacon, smoked ham, links, liver & onions, pork chops, T-bone steaks, salmon croquettes and, of course, waffles, biscuits and eggs.
