Noe Restaurant & Bar

Located across the street from the Disney Concert Hall, in the towering Omni Hotel, Noe Restaurant and Lounge is a popular favorite with the burgeoning downtown nightlife scene. Within walking distance of half a dozen high-end theaters, Noe has been serving an unusual fusion of Japanese-French cuisine since 2003. The dining area, which was crafted by the production designer who brought us “The Wonder Years,” is open and bright, distinguished by shining tile floors and tall glass cabinets stocked with wine. Each table is equipped with its own silver wine bucket, and with good reason: Noe’s voluminous wine list offers over 100 wines from around the world, many of which are award winners. The menu is equally exotic. Dishes such as butter poached lobster, lemon curd, ravioli and tapioca sauce and miso-cured Colorado lamb with braised daikon and wilted watercress illustrate the Japanese-French connection.
