About
Elegant fun is the best way to describe this ambitious contemporary dining room. The decor is outrageously elaborate, with grand chandeliers, sumptuous window coverings, opulent murals and paintings, and a candelabra-adorned grand piano. All of it creates a dramatic backdrop for the open-mic opera on weekends, when diners and waitstaff alike get up to sing an aria or two. Quite appropriate, given what the restaurant was named for! The wine list is good and the Italian/French-inspired food makes dining at La Traviata worth an encore. Valet and street parking available. -- Collette Anderson
