Kendall's Brasserie and Bar

Tucked away beneath the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, the street-level Kendall’s Brasserie is the perfect place to grab a pre-show meal -- or a post-concert drink. With high ceilings, mosaic floors and classical murals on the walls, Kendall’s looks like it would be more at home on a side street in Paris’ theater district than Bunker Hill. Fittingly, the predominantly theater-bound crowd arrives decked-out with dramatic flair. Dining with a date? Nab one of the intimate sidewalk tables outside. Feasting with a group? Grab one of spacious leather banquettes inside. The menu is an ode to the City of Light with offerings, including French onion soup and organic escargots. Be forewarned: There is no such thing as a quick after-show drink as the service seems to slow down with the hour.
