The relaxed atmosphere of Insomnia defies the double espressos and thick cappuccinos that they serve regularly. The high ceilings and comfortable overstuffed chairs and couches give Insomnia a feel of some great study or library; you almost wish there was a fire that needed stoking. With seating both indoors and out in the front, Insomnia has its own subculture of students, writers, actors/actresses, artists and just about anyone who needs to take a brief break from their otherwise hectic day. A variety of desserts are available as well as Italian syrup cold drinks. The brush or pencil artwork on the walls changes regularly and is usually done by a talented Insomnia customer.
