Bob Dylan may not own the place, as rumor has long had it, but this wood-and-brick, old-timey coffee house is pretty cool nonetheless. A spacious spot with a shady courtyard almost as big as the indoor area, 18th Street Coffee House is a nice place to relax with a cup of coffee or tea, and perhaps a bagel or cold sandwich, which also feature on the reasonably priced menu. This is the kind of local-friendly spot where patrons like to linger. There's no wi-fi (though laptops are welcome) but on the other hand, you don't have to put up with customers blabbing away on their cell phones—mobiles are strictly forbidden here.
