Warung Cafe

Thanks to its mix-and-match menu of Asian-inspired small plates, Warung Café is the perfect lunch locale when you are feeling indecisive. Appetizer-sized dishes can be ordered a la carte or in combinations of three. Feeling healthy? Go for combo one with Ahi tuna tataki salad, papaya and tofu salad and organic tofu and seaweed salad. Feeling hungry? Order combo two with papaya and tofu salad, vegetable dumplings and peanut noodles. Housed in a storefront in the Old Bank District, Warung’s long rectangular dining room is a symphony of neutral tones, teak wood and oversized windows. But the Zen-like decor doesn’t translate into a relaxed, meditative atmosphere. Servers at Warung know their crowd – predominantly lunching workers from nearby office buildings – and pace the meal accordingly.
