This little trucker cafe at the corner of Olympic and Alameda, an industrial stretch that's just south of the heart of downtown, offers cheap Mexican and American diner fare 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Get yourself giant burritos, huevos rancheros, fish tacos, carnitas, cocido and more, though you will almost certainly encounter a fair bit of "local color" (read bums).
