Like any good fashion designer, restaurateur Fred Eric, the mastermind behind the rockin’ Los Feliz locale Fred 62, knows his audience. Tiara Café regularly attracts a crowd of decked-out fashionistas from nearby Fashion District Buildings -- and it is no surprise why they keep coming. First, the décor: Tiara Café is the downtown equivalent of a fairy wonderland, complete with faux moss-covered tree branches and a very real chocolate fountain that greets visitors at the front door. Second, the food: Tiara Café’s menu offers health-conscious picks from all-organic salads to personal pizzas. But this season’s must-have is the whimsical frosted cupcakes, which come in various sizes (including extra-small).
