Seemingly always open, The Terrace is one of the safer bets to get a decent meal when you’re at the beach.  Breakfast is served till 2 pm and while it’s a little pricey (up to $14), the menu has a nice variety and the food is solid.  The rest of the very large menu is available—amazingly—until 1 in the morning and features plenty of rich dishes (stroganoff, pork chops, lasagna) to allay your hangover.  The crowd is primarily local and older than other places in the neighborhood.  The bar features multiple flat screen televisions that are virtually always tuned to ESPN.  The Terrace usually gets quite crowded on weekend nights, especially when they feature the occasional DJ or band.  Smokers usually congregate in the semi-secret back room featuring windows that open out to the Boardwalk.  The Terrace is directly across from the Venice Whaler and shares the same spacious parking lot.
