The Coffee Tree

Tucked into the whimsical Arcade Lane, The Coffee Tree calls to mind a Viennese coffeehouse.  Take a seat at one of the dainty tables by the large bay window or on one of the stools at the counter facing all those whole roasted beans.  Lattes are the house specialty.  There’s a selection of pastries, cookies, and ice cream for a light snack, but the real plus is that the full menus from Arcade Lane neighbors Yahaira’s and El Portal are available at the Coffee Tree (all three venues share the same owner), making it an ideal overflow spot at peak dining times.  With free Wifi and ever-accessible enchiladas, there’s really no reason to leave, except maybe to catch a show at the nearby Pasadena Playhouse or pick up a book across the street at Vroman’s Bookstore.
